Frequency: How often to start online discussions with clients

I'd like my clients thinking of me everyday, but that's not practical. They have a business to run, probably family and hopefully, some personal interests. Realizing that the more they learn about my business, the more value they will receive, how often can I initiate forums, RSS updates, webinars, etc.? Is it weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or some other frequency?

I do not think it is some much about frequency as it is about relevancy and the ability for your clients to opt-in. This is where technology comes into play. If you give your clients the opportunity to get information they want, when they want it the way they want it, you will not have to worry about over or under-welming them AND you will gain insight on who is interested in what kind of information.

You can also use a variety of approaches. If you can convince your clients to use a social bookmarking tool such as Delicious you can send them links of interest that they will receive when they log in. You can have a blog with specific tags for specific topics and so forth...
